As discussed previously, the importance of an athlete’s identity is paramount as they progress through high school, college and professional sports. In this episode, Luke speaks with Celia Anderson about her time as a women’s basketball player at the University of Arkansas, playing in the Final Four and playing professionally overseas. Celia discusses not only how she has dealt with her identity as an athlete, but as a mother of an elite basketball player, she also discusses how she helps her daughter work through issues of identity.
